Job Purpose and Basic Function 

This position provides project management, content and technical support concerning mobile health care to NACHC’s health center operations training and technical assistance (TTA) portfolio in Health Center Operations and Governance (HCOG)), Partnership, Development & Innovation (PD&I), and with other NACHC Functional Areas and/or with external organizations.  The TTA portfolio serves health center operations leaders with administrative oversight and leadership of human resources, clinic operations, health information technology, change management, and patient and staff engagement efforts.

 

Description of Primary Responsibilities and Duties

1)     Engage health centers, PCAs, HCCNs in relation to partnership and support for mobile health focused initiatives or projects.

a.     Work with NACHC’s subject matter experts in key areas (I.e., health center operations, governance, financial operations, emergency management) to identify additional learning modules and/or resources relevant to the delivery of care through mobile health and integrate new modules or resources into existing workflows.

b.     Manage the delivery of HCOG activities on mobile health at health centers including development and delivery of relevant training and technical assistance (TTA) programs and resources for health center operations, mobile health sustainability and operational effectiveness, and contribute to NACHC’s overall programming and objectives (including webinars, conference sessions, learning collaboratives, content marketing, etc.) and provide project management for NACHC’s health center operations TTA portfolio and contribute to the operations and financial stewardship for the health center operations portfolio.

 

2)     Manage sub-granting program to support field engagement around mobile health.

a.     Support NACHC staff to design and implement a sub-grant program to allocate financial resources to entities in the field (CHCs, PCAs, and/or HCCNs) around mobile health engagement and enhancement.

b.     Manage the contracting and reporting for these subgrants, including aggregating reports from the field.

 

3)     Represent NACHC and manage partnerships with external funders and like-minded partners.

a.     Manage engagement with external mobile health partners, including attending and presenting at meetings, tracking of resources shared throughout all projects, and keeping NACHC staff updated.

b.     Attend and potentially present with other NACHC staff at mobile health focused conferences and webinars.

c.      Manage regular reporting on projects managed by HCOG for internal and external audiences, including the NACHC Leadership and the Board of Directors, NACHC’s website, and as needed, for communications/marketing materials.

 

4)     Serve as team member to support function area responsibilities and activities related to engagement with NACHC’s constituents.

a.     Support the planning and implementation of NACHC conference offerings, including T/TA education sessions and workshops.

b.     Support Function Area at NACHC conferences, constituent-supported meetings, and/or other meetings as needed.

c.      Support Function Area reports/briefings for NACHC’s Board of Directors and in response to items raised by constituents.

 

5)     Support and engage in cross-organizational engagement efforts with colleagues.

a.     Represent Function Area, and/or based on self-directed interest with supervisor approval engagement, in cross-organizational workgroups as requested or as interested based on experience, needs, and availability. This may include Performance Improvement (PI) teams, Integration Goal (IG) groups, Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) teams, review panels, HR interview teams, and/or other NACHC efforts.

 

 

Professional Experience & Abilities

·        Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university preferred, or commensurate work experience with an Associate’s degree.

·        Experience and demonstrated work managing multiple projects and/or partnerships involving regular communications with internal and external parties, managing a project from inception through launch and through close-out. Recent experience with mobile healthcare initiatives, at CHCs, PCAs, HCCNs, or from AmeriCorps, Peace Corps, and/or other service programs can be considered as part of this experience. Relevant internships (paid or unpaid) should be identified separately from work experience.

·        Excellent interpersonal skills with high customer service orientation and ability to work well with a variety of stakeholders.

·        Technical capabilities or experience to support virtual or in-person events, including webinars, conference sessions, learning collaboratives, etc.

·        Experience with adult learning modalities and/or approaches.

·        Creative, innovative, and inquisitive in problem solving and judgment.

·        Demonstrated commitment to professional growth with an interest in learning and mastering new skills.

 

Licenses & Certifications

Technical Skills

·        Experience with video-conference platforms including Microsoft Teams, Zoom.

·        Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly data entry and creating dashboards using Excel.

·        Superior verbal and written skills.

·        Ability to learn and become proficient in any necessary project management, customer relationship management, learning management platforms, and other virtual apps or software.

 

Salary Range:

$70,000 - 90,000
