Job Purpose and Basic Function 

 

The Deputy Director, Financial Planning & Analysis manages financial planning, budgeting and forecasting for the organization, functional areas, grants, and events.

 

 

Description of Primary Responsibilities and Duties

 

1)    Manages financial planning, budgeting and forecasting.

2)    Prepares and distributes monthly spending reports to decision-makers and collaborates with cross-functional teams to gather required information for quarterly projections.

3)    Leads the annual budgeting process.

4)    Prepares ad-hoc financial analyses and reports as needed to support decision-making.

5)    Continuously improve financial processes and systems to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

6)    Other duties as assigned.

 

 

Professional/Technical Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

 

A bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or accounting and at least seven years’ relevant professional experience is required.

 

Licenses & Certifications

 

Certified public accountant (CPA) or master’s degree preferred, but not required.

 

Technical Skills

 

1)    Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Excel including the ability to manipulate and organize data

2)    Strong communication skills

3)    Advanced strategic thinking skills

 

Salary Range

$102,500 - 105,000
